Twitter reacts to the Bears selection of Jordan Morgan in the 5th round

Ryan Pace went to a lower division, again, in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The newest Bears offensive lineman is Jordan Morgan, a guard from Division II Kutztown. The Bears' second-round pick, Adam Shaheen, was also a D-II player.

Morgan is an interesting selection, and he presence certainly fills a need in offensive line depth. However, the Bears are also familiar with Morgan, as John Fox has coached him before.

Small school aside, Twitter seemed to like the idea of the Bears grabbing an offensive lineman to develop and provide depth.

But, it's hard to justify D-II talent over a Power Five talent.

Only time will tell if Morgan, who could provide some challenge for Charles Leno Jr. and Bobby Massie, will actually see the field in his rookie season with the Bears.
