Seahawks QB Russell Wilson says there’s ‘no doubt’ he expects to play Jets

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson declared on Thursday that there is "no doubt" he expects to play against the Jets despite suffering knee and ankle injuries in Seattle's Week 3 win over San Francisco.

"From everything we're hearing, what we're seeing on tape, we don't think he'll be limited at all," Jets defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers said after practice on Thursday. "I think he's a very tough, competitive guy. I think he'll be going at 100%, and he's a problem for defenses, when throwing it, putting them in the right play and scrambling when things break down."

Wilson indicated to reporters that he will wear a brace against the Jets on Sunday after spraining the MCL in his left knee against the 49ers.

Asked what makes Wilson stand out, Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis said: "One, I would say, is his fight, him being a warrior, just the way he fights. He has a big heart and it shows by the way he plays. He's a big part of their offense and a big part of them team. Emotionally, you can tell his team feeds off him…Playing a versatile quarterback like him, he's a guy who can also hurt you with his legs."

Revis returned to practice in full on Thursday after sitting out the previous day with an ankle issue.
